Story
H is jogging. When she says hello to E, he joins him in exercise. E calls out “Exercise, everyone!” N refuses, until they hold hands.
h-e-n, HEN!
A hen appears. H says hello to the hen. The hen sits and lays an egg. N runs away. E chases him and tells him it’s only an egg, while the hen follows them. H tells the hen to wait up as she’s forgotten her egg. H nudges it, and it rolls down a hill. It stops at O. P pops in.
h-o-p, HOP!
The egg grows legs and hops. H hops on the egg, thinking she’s just like the hen. Then the egg grows a beak. The egg says “Mama,” confusing O and he runs away while H tells the egg the hen’s its mother, not O. H rides the egg past M and U.
h-u-m, HUM!
H, U, and M hum as they march by with the egg following them. The egg then sits on a wall, reminding H of the rhyme, Humpty Dumpty. As H recites the rhyme, M eats the wall. H warms him not to, but it’s too late. The wall collapses, and the egg is nearly shattered. M goes off and comes back with E and N.
m-e-n, MEN!
The King’s Horses and Men appear, but like in the rhyme, they can’t put the egg back together again. G comes by
h-u-g, HUG!
H, U, and G hug the egg, which suddenly breaks to reveal a chick. The chick says “Mama”, confusing U. H tells the chick the hen’s its mother, not U. Then E uses his loudhailer on the chick’s call of “Mama,” which sends out the chick’s actual mother, the hen. The chick then says “Dada”, causing U to run away as the episode ends.
